After the initial wedding, it was time to start editing the photos. If you’re familiar with wedding photography, you know there’s a type of style or artistic direction for the photos. Thus I reached out to Joselynn and asked her what she wanted and she sent some reference photos but we landed with these two specific reference photos.
How’d I do, you can compare below. As you can see, pretty much nailed the black and white. Now the color one, one could argue it could use more work but I got as close as possible with the skills I had at the time. Things to consider the time of day for the shoot were different and the lighting, background conditions were different. I was watching Youtube videos, finding and buying different filters to achieve the affect. Overall they were happy and it was super fun seeing how these turned out.
